About the Position
We are seeking a Plumbing Designer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of MEP Plumbing Engineering experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will contribute to the success of multidisciplinary teams working across a wide range of projects (including federal, municipal, commercial, and industrial). Design projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter and can move quickly and efficiently through a variety of design stages ranging from concept plans to construction documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Plumbing experience in a MEP environment
- Proficiency in Revit/BIM
- EIT or PE is a plus
- Managerial skills and ability to mentor younger team members is a plus
- Use and understanding of the Unified Facility Criteria and implementation of the criteria into Federal and Department of Defense/State projects is a plus
- Development of detailed specifications in either CSI or SpecsIntact formatting/software is a plus
- Domestic water, storm, sanitary, and venting system design is a plus
- Construction cost estimating and life cycle cost analysis is a plus
- Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
- Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
