Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer III at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), your role will span across the Digital Sports and Sports Betting markets. We work cross-functionally and drive innovative solutions across the Fanatics Ecosystem.This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and ability to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automated testing solutions to streamline testing cycles and enable faster product releases to customers
  • Take responsibility for delivering both manual and automated testing solutions for customer-facing features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX Designers, and Compliance, to gain insights into customer usage models and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Create comprehensive test plans and suites that simulate real-world scenarios and support regression testing, driving the software development process toward quality-driven methodologies
  • Work closely with development and business teams to communicate potential impacts and thoroughly understand business requirements
  • Must be open to occasional travel to Fanatics Betting & Gaming offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team-building activities

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Quality Engineer
  • Proficient in scripting and coding languages(i.e. Java,Javascript) and comfortable writing and executing scripts for automation tasks in a very fast paced environment
  • Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or automated testing
  • Experience with API automation testing, including unit test automation frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated QA experience in QAE role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the sportsbook betting domain
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and automation experience
  • Reporting skills, proficient in creating status reports based on automation results
  • Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness
  • Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate impacts and to understand business requirements

The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award. Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $116,000 to $175,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
