Job Summary

Accurate Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting our manufacturing facility to ensure that all mechanical and dimensional inspections, ranging from final product checks to in-process and receiving inspections, meet internal standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience using Romer Arms, and other precision inspection tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Perform daily startup checks of Romer Arm, angular accuracy checks, scale bar checks etc.

· Read, understand and accurately interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), drawings, models and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient measurement of parts

·Ensuring quality of manufactured goods through proactive QC support

·Operate Portable Romer Arm

·Perform in-process, receive final inspections and analyze inspection data for compliance

·Document First Article Inspections using AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, including submitting reports through net-inspect when required by the customer

·Assist with inspections using a variety of other metrology equipment and hand-tools (e.g., micrometers, bore gages, calipers, height gauge, indicators fixtures, etc.) to ensure complete inspection and product quality on new and existing products

Maintain accurate and complete records of inspections and prepare non-conformance reports

Document all non-conforming products are correctly identified and segregated until disposition (rework or scrap) can be determine

verify machine set-ups, first piece verifications, etc.

Knowledge Skills & Qualifications

· Interpreting engineering models, specifications and blueprint requirements including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Aerospace First Article Inspection standard AS9102

Knowledge and use of Verisurf Software

Use of various inspection tools, (height gages, blocks, micrometers, calipers, etc.)

Able to work independently and efficiently as well as be a team player

Education and Experience

· Minimum Requirements – High school diploma or equivalent

.2-5 years in Quality Assurance

2-5 year using Romer Arm

Pay: $40-50% per hour
