We are looking for an experienced
Manufacturing Supervisor
to oversee our manufacturing operations on first shift. The Supervisor will lead our manufacturing team in achieving production goals while ensuring efficiency and product quality. The goal is to ensure that production process delivers predetermined inventory levels. The successful candidate will supervise staff, and implement safety and quality control measures"

Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools where needed daily
  • Recruit and train new employees to use machinery and follow procedures
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
  • Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities
  • Oversee and coach employees
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
  • Check production output according to specifications
  • Submit reports on performance and progress
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Requirements And Skills
Cabinet manufacturing experience a plus.

  • Proven experience as Manufacturing Supervisor or similar role
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Organizational and leadership abilities
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Problem-solving skills

Salary:

$25.00 per hour + Performance Incentive

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • First Shift (6:30am-4:00pm)
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Manufacturing Supervision: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: In person
