We are looking for a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) who is as passionate about growth as we are—someone who thrives at the intersection of leadership, strategy, and execution and who can scale revenue across B2C and B2B channels worldwide.
SUMMARY:
The Chief Technology & AI Officer (CTAO) is a senior executive leader responsible for owning and advancing the technological vision that powers Habitual Growth's intelligent and innovative platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CTAO will develop and execute the full product and AI roadmap, integrating state-of-the-art language models, speech recognition, personalization systems, and secure data infrastructure to create meaningful behavior change for users.
This role requires a rare blend of hands-on technical excellence and strategic leadership—part applied AI researcher, part systems architect, part team builder. The CTAO must have a proven track record of deploying scalable AI-driven products that deliver measurable user outcomes in mobile-first environments. They will serve as the primary architect of the Habitual Growth platform experience, translating coaching science into continuously adaptive and personalized interactions.
In addition, the CTAO will recruit, mentor, and lead a lean but high-performance engineering and AI organization, fostering a culture of rapid experimentation, responsible innovation, and seamless collaboration with Operations, Marketing, and Revenue teams to ensure the technology becomes a durable competitive advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
- Architect and maintain a multi-model AI stack
- Select and operationalize LLMs for reasoning, coaching, personalization, and content generation
- Implement speech recognition and natural language understanding for high-fidelity voice interactions
- Develop emotion and intent detection to Habitual Growth's internal model responses
- Design data pipelines that capture user responses, assessments, voice transcripts, and behavioral signals
- Build personalization engines that adapt to each user's growth profile, habits, and goals
- Own ML ops: training, deployment, evaluation, model iteration, prompt optimization
- Integrate third-party APIs for voice, transcription, knowledge retrieval, and real-time recommendations when it accelerates delivery
- Ensure security infrastructure protects sensitive personal development data
- Partner with Product to embed AI capabilities into product flows that feel engaging and supportive
- Establish evaluation frameworks for model safety, drift, bias, and trend control
- Forecast and budget for AI infrastructure costs and optimize for scaling
- Recruit and lead world-class engineers, applied scientists, and product-minded builders
- Partner with marketing, product, and Operations teams to ensure consistent messaging, seamless customer experience, and optimized monetization strategies.
- Identify opportunities to launch new revenue streams (merchandise, content licensing, corporate wellness programs, events, and retreats).
- Represent Habitual Growth externally at conferences, panels, and events to establish the company as a leader in the personal growth and mobile app space.
- Support all business needs in terms of technology, development, and tool use and rollout.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of executive-level leadership in technology — preferably within mobile application or SaaS companies.
- Proven track record of building and scaling product software across multiple languages and platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute B2C and B2B sales strategies, including subscription-based models and enterprise partnerships.
- Hands-on AI engineering expertise with LLMs, vector search, embeddings, and ASR (automatic speech recognition)
- Track record building user-facing intelligent products
- Ability to make tradeoffs that serve speed without sacrificing trust or privacy
- Strong personal commitment to leadership, fitness, growth, and education; must embody the principles of Habitual Growth.
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate compelling value propositions to diverse stakeholders (executives, customers, partners, and communities).
- Proficient in revenue modeling, KPI management, and tech stack creation + forecasting; comfortable using data to inform decisions.
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment; able to pivot strategies quickly while maintaining a long-term vision.
- Based in the U.S. (Colorado preferred but not required).
