Key Responsibilities

• Operate electron beam and laser welding equipment with precision to produce components that meet customer specifications.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and compliance with required standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve optimal welding results.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Develop and refine welding parameters and processes for specific jobs.
• Operate CNC laser welding equipment and utilize computer-controlled systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data entry within the ERP system.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment while following all safety and compliance regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and technical teams to optimize welding processes.
• Follow AWS D17.1, AMS-2681, AMS-2680, and other standards for welding across required alloy groups.
• Perform routine equipment servicing and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. citizenship or valid Green Card holder required.
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Experience using precision inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and its application in welding processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience working with electron beam and or laser welding equipment is a plus.
