We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to commercial law, immigration law, and family law. Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
  • Assist in the drafting of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
  • Engage in litigation processes while maintaining thorough documentation and case files.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their legal needs and develop effective strategies.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting various practice areas, including tribal law & regulations and patent law.
  • Utilize legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.

Experience

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in CA.
  • Prior experience in a law office setting is preferred; familiarity with legal administrative tasks is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools is essential.
  • Experience or knowledge in multiple practice areas such as litigation, family law, environmental law, or immigration law will be highly regarded.
