Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Junk Removal Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient removal of unwanted items from residential and commercial properties. This position requires heavy lifting, route driving, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Duties

  • Safely load and unload junk from vehicles while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Drive company vehicles along designated routes to pick up junk from various locations.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Sort and categorize items for recycling or disposal according to company policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used.
  • Operate forklifts or other machinery as needed during the removal process.
  • Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.

Experience

  • Previous experience in heavy lifting is essential; candidates should be physically capable of handling large and bulky items.
  • Route driving experience is preferred, with a valid driver's license required.
  • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
  • Experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous.
  • Background in warehouse operations or moving services will be beneficial.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment are essential for success in this role.
