Responsible for performing general (non-mechanical) labor duties such as strapping finished foods, stacking pallets, tote makeups and tear downs, and dumping.

  • Performs general (non-mechanical) labor duties such as but not limited to strapping finished goods, stacking pallets, tote makeups and tear downs, and dumping.
  • Inspects product for extraneous materials, dumps totes, closes boxes and performs other duties on the line as directed.
  • Ensures that each job function is performed according to specifications.
  • Keeps work area clean in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
  • Responsible for physically lifting to pounds, as required.
  • Ensures individual job objectives and corporate objectives are met.
  • Reports any mechanical and/or safety concerns to the Supervisor or Lead immediately.
  • Adheres to common safety practices and procedures including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required.
  • Adheres to the Company's plant hygiene standards consistent with GMP's to ensure high product integrity.
  • Should not leave work area unless given permission by the Supervisor or Lead.
  • Responsible for following food safety, legality, and quality polices and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP's, safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Freezer's Production Supervisor or Lead.

  • Basic Math Skills

  • Ability to record data onto a spreadsheet.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate with management and co-workers.
  • Ability to work in all environments.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Must maintain a good attendance record.
