Engineering Intern

Worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy mobile machinery, has a job opening for an Engineering Intern. The job will provide the student with an opportunity to gain experience while working in a fast-paced engineering environment assisting in product development and improvement projects. The intern must be willing to learn and perform a variety of job duties, work independently, and as part of a team. The job is located in Huntington, West Virginia.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required;

  • Actively working toward BS in Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

  • Solid Edge CAD software
  • Teamcenter PLM software
  • ANSYS FEA
  • Any previous mechanical experience in manufacturing large equipment is also a plus.

Job duties include: 

  • Assisting the engineering department with research and design for mining machines and related equipment
  • May be required to travel to mine sites to learn hands-on trouble shooting and field testing.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
