Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environment, Health and Safety Manager located in Atlanta, GA area. Could last 4-6 months or longer. This position could be entry level depending on the amount of experience in construction. The Environment, Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety programs, conducting regular inspections, training employees on safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of health and safety within the company.

Qualifications

  • Not looking for a safety cop, looking for a leader to problem solve and create solutions.
  • Good Communication skills, with the ability to speak in front of large groups of people with the ability to train others.
  • Experience in conducting safety inspections, implementing safety programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Able to promote a positive safety culture with our Good Catch program
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards
  • Ability to promote a culture of health and safety within the organization
  • Computer skills are needed.
  • Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) are a plus
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the mechanical contracting industry is preferred
