Currently, we are seeking Experienced Service Technicians in our Delaware Cadillac, Delaware Subaru, and Kia of Wilmington Service Departments.

Qualifications

  • Service Technician experience required
  • ASE Certification preferred
  • A-Level, B-Level and/or C-level qualifications all considered (including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair)
  • Current Technical School Attendees are welcome to apply as Apprentice-Technicians
  • Broad knowledge of engine, mechanical, and electric technologies
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with manufacturer (and dealership) policies and procedures (documenting "complaint, cause, correction," etc.)
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform Multi-Point Inspections on all vehicles
