Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team, with expertise in test automation using Selenium, Python, and other cutting-edge tools. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality of our software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Python, and other automation tools (e.g., Appium, TestNG)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
• Develop and execute test automation scripts to ensure coverage of functional and non-functional testing
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation, and apply that knowledge to improve our testing processes
• Mentor junior automation engineers and provide technical guidance and support
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements:
• 5-8 years of Professional experience in an IT related field preferably in a development or testing environment
• 5 + years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Python
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, including Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Pytest
• Experience with programming languages, including Python, Java, and C#
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud-based testing
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience
