Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial assistance for Graduate Medical Education (GME) Programs sponsored by Florida State University College of Medicine and Sarasota Memorial Health Care System.

Required Qualifications

  • Require an associate degree in related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Require a high school diploma or equivalency and six (6) years' experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six (6) years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Prefer demonstrated ability to interact professionally and maintain confidentiality with broad range of leaders across the health system.
  • Prefer excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects with careful attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines.
  • Prefer strong problem-solving skills, with ability to formulate practical solutions.
  • Prefer demonstrated knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related organizational policies, procedures, principles and practices, as well as the ability to gather, interpret, report, and/or edit information.
  • Prefer advanced competency in a paperless computer environment and understanding of data integrity standards (MS Office Suite, Adobe Professional, document scanning/storage, web-based applications and tools, etc.), working knowledge of New Innovations Residency Management System a plus.
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Prefer demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of event planning, as well as the ability to work with virtual meeting platforms and working knowledge of audio and visual (AV) equipment.
