Software Engineering Senior Manager

The Software Engineering Senior Manager will lead engineering delivery for the Legal and Compliance organization, supporting regulatory and compliance reporting for state regulatory engagement. This role is critical to maintaining velocity and quality across our expanding portfolio.
Responsibilities- Lead engineering teams focused on automation, data integrity, and compliance workflows.
- Oversee development and maintenance of reporting pipelines for regulatory mandates.
- Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Pharmacy Operations to ensure timely and accurate report delivery.
- Drive technical strategy for initiatives such as APCD file validation, compound claims processing, and denied claims workflows.
- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles aligned with compliance deadlines.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in regulatory or compliance-related engineering domains.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL frameworks, and reporting automation.
- Familiarity with healthcare data formats (e.g., APCD, CCW, RXRDS) and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in legal or compliance organizations within healthcare or insurance.
- Familiarity with HiH delivery models and onshore/offshore coordination.
- Experience with exception-based hiring and TBH justification workflows.
