Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient
Test Manager
with
15+ years of experience
in software testing, specializing in
ETL processes

Snowflake data warehousing

reporting/BI validation

test automation
. This leadership role will drive the QA strategy, execution, and governance across complex data ecosystems, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and business alignment.

Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Planning

  • Define and implement robust test strategies for:
  • ETL pipelines
    (data ingestion, transformation, and loading)
  • Snowflake data warehouse
    (schema validation, data integrity, performance)
  • BI/reporting tools
    (Power BI/Tableau/QlikView)
  • Automation frameworks
    for data and API validation
  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Estimate testing efforts, allocate resources, and manage timelines across multiple concurrent projects.

Test Execution & Quality Assurance

  • Lead and oversee the execution of:
  • Functional testing
  • Integration testing
  • Regression testing
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source systems, staging layers, and Snowflake.
  • Ensure business logic is correctly implemented in reports and dashboards.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and coordinate with development and data engineering teams for resolution.

Automation & Optimization

  • Design and implement
    automated test suites
    for:
  • Data validation using
    SQL
    ,
    Python
    .
  • Integrate automated tests into
    CI/CD pipelines
    to support continuous testing and faster releases.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, product owners, and business analysts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide regular updates on test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders and leadership.

Governance & Best Practices

  • Establish and enforce QA standards, templates, and documentation practices.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
  • Maintain traceability between business requirements, test cases, and defects.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 15+ years
    of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on
    data and analytics platforms
    .
  • Proven expertise in
    ETL testing
    ,
    data validation
    , and
    data quality assurance
    .
  • Deep hands-on experience with
    Snowflake
    – including querying, performance tuning, and schema validation.
  • Advanced
    SQL
    skills for complex data validation and transformation logic.
  • Experience testing

  • Proficiency in
    test automation tools
