Job Summary

The Sports Imports Sales Account Manager plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, managing CRM data, and supporting the sales team in achieving goals. This position ensures seamless collaboration with the marketing team to execute product-focused sales strategies, aligning efforts to maximize revenue and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and skilled in balancing multiple priorities to drive results.

Key Accountabilities:

Customer Service Excellence

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

  • Resolve customer issues with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency, maintaining Sports Imports' reputation for exceptional service.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.

CRM Management and Data Integrity

  • Maintain and update customer information and interactions in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

  • Generate reports from the CRM to provide insights into customer trends, pipeline health, and sales performance.

  • Use CRM data to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention.

Sales Support

  • Assist Sales Representatives in preparing proposals, managing accounts, and following up on leads.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment on strategies, goals, and client needs.

  • Help coordinate and manage the sales process, ensuring smooth handoffs and communication across teams.

Meeting Sales Target Goals

  • Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets by supporting account management activities and strategic initiatives.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive additional revenue through upselling and client engagement.

  • Track progress against sales goals and provide regular updates to leadership.

Tethered Strategy and Execution with Marketing Team

  • Partner closely with the marketing team to develop and execute product-focused sales campaigns.

  • Leverage marketing materials and insights to enhance client presentations and proposals.

  • Provide feedback to the marketing team on client needs, campaign effectiveness, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, customer service, or sales support.

Intangibles

  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing.

  • Familiarity with the sports industry or a passion for sports is a plus
