Upscale Puppy Boutique in Whitehouse Station, NJ seeks experienced worker for kennel/puppy care and puppy & retail sales. Must be mature, responsible, organized and VERY RELIABLE. Neat freaks welcome Job requires a lot of cleaning. Previous experience in Pet Shop, Kennel, Veterinary Office or Grooming Salon a plus but not required. Must be available Monday & Tuesday 8-2, Thursday 2-8 and weekends, but flexible schedule and other shifts available. Total about 25 – 35 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to come grow with us. Must have excellent communications/customer service skills and MUST LOVE DOGS

Summary

As a Puppy Care & Retail Sales Associate at Furrylicious, you will be at the forefront of taking care of our precious puppies as well as providing exceptional customer service. This role is vital in enhancing the puppy adoption experience and ensuring our furry clients receive the attention they deserve.

Responsibilities

  • Position requires A LOT of cleaning - neat freaks welcome
  • Operate "cash register" and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
  • Maintain puppy care protocol with respect to cleaning, feeding and general care for the young puppies' well-being.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve goals and improve store performance.
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly displayed and stocked according to company standards.

Qualification

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliable & punctual
  • Basic knowledge of pet care and pet products is preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus to cater to diverse clientele.
