Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Tattoo Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic vision and the technical skills necessary to create high-quality tattoos that reflect clients' desires and personal styles. As a Tattoo Artist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for both clients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and preferences, providing expert advice on design and placement.
  • Create custom tattoo designs using illustration skills, incorporating elements of color theory to enhance the final artwork.
  • Execute tattoos with precision, adhering to strict sanitation practices to ensure client safety and compliance with health regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
  • Manage client appointments and follow up on healing processes, offering guidance on aftercare.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote services, contributing to store management and sales efforts.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in tattooing.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and first aid practices relevant to the tattooing industry. Needs to show proof of valid Blood Bourne Pathogens Course Completion each year.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
  • Background in illustration or fine arts is highly desirable.
