Your Impact:
As a Corporate Development Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our strategic growth initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with our Corporate Development team on projects that shape the company's future. You will gain hands-on experience in evaluating potential mergers and acquisitions, conducting in-depth market research, and analyzing data to support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a proactive and analytical individual eager to learn and contribute to high-impact projects in a fast-paced corporate environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Corporate Development team in the identification, evaluation, execution, and integration of acquisition opportunities
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in various industries.
  • Assist in the development of financial models and valuation analyses for potential acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Support the due diligence process by gathering and organizing relevant data, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations.

Skills and knowledge most relevant to the job:

  • Curious, motivated, and self-driven
  • Strong research, analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Possess business acumen and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated average hourly rate for this position is $32/hour. This rate reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's major, degree currently being pursued and location.
