US Team lead for Corporate Actions department responsible for five direct reports across US and India locations. Partnership and collaboration with UK and India based team to support full end to end Corporate Actions management across Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

Responsibilities


• US Team Management to achieve department and company objectives


• Train and develop staff. Facilitate regular staff 1 to 1's, formal check in's and year end appraisals.


• Recruitment of staff when required.


• Engagement and delivery on key globalisation initiative to integrate US and EMEA Corporate Action teams


• Full lifecycle of Corporate Action management across all Columbia Threadneedle portfolios


• Event validation and set up within Aladdin Corporate Actions Manager


• Lifecycle Management


• Obtaining voluntary Corporate Action elections from portfolio managers/third parties and instructing Custodians


• Processing Corporate Actions in Aladdin and Invest One


• Resolving cash and asset reconciliation breaks and breaks against third parties


• Management of Corporate Action queries from internal and external parties


• Liaising with other teams across the business to resolve issues


• Support for internal and external audit deliverables such as SOC1 and ISAE


• Undertake continuous improvement of business processes. Initiate and drive efficiency/cost saving initiatives


• Manage and mitigate risk across the Corporate Actions department. Improve controls where possible.


• Escalation and REV management.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $77,100- $115,700 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances
