Our established dental office has proudly served the community for over 30 years, providing high-quality care with a personal, compassionate touch. We are now seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Lead Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team.

Position Overview

As the Lead Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining efficient clinical operations and ensuring an exceptional experience for every patient. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, organized, and experienced dental assistant who thrives in a leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during a wide variety of procedures
  • Lead and support a team of dental assistants and coordinate daily clinical flow
  • Take and process dental X-rays
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
  • Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices
  • Manage inventory of clinical supplies and ensure rooms are stocked
  • Support the front desk with patient communication as needed
  • Help maintain a calm, professional, and patient-focused atmosphere

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a dental assistant
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership or team coordination experience preferred
  • Proficiency in taking X-rays and working with dental software (e.g., Dentrix)
  • Radiology certification and any required local certifications
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
