Position Summary...

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.

We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Senior Manager to join our team at our Rogers, AR facility. This position requires onsite presence and does not offer remote work options. Candidates must be available to work a rotating schedule which will periodically include working Sundays and Saturdays. Candidate must be flexible to work outside rotation/shift with advance notice as needed for training and/or business operational needs.

As a key member of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing various aspects of facilities maintenance, including electrical systems and controls, custodial activities, and task delegation. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements, standard operating procedures, and key functional roles within assigned departments.

What you'll do...

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates relevant industry practices from an operations perspective and works accordingly.
  • Works to resolve obstacles to goals of several organizational functions.
  • Advises others to carry out responsibilities based on understanding of key organizational functions.
  • Designs awareness programs for multi- and cross-functional issues of the regulatory environment.
  • Facilitates interrelationships between major functions and subfunctions.
  • Recommends efficiencies in operational functions and One Best Way documentation when possible.
  • Monitors organizational compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates communications across departments to ensure a smooth workflow in the facility and related partner functions.
  • Applies regulatory programs as needed to comply with major products, processes, or business areas.
  • Provides recommendations and solutions to existing and potential legal or regulatory problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Option 1: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, Management, or related field and 4 years experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Option 2: 6 years experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing facilities maintenance teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Automation Experience
  • Strategic Thinker / Mechanical Aptitude
