Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Accounts Payable/Receptionist Specialist to join our team. This role supports the financial operations of our healthcare facility, including billing, accounts payable, patient trust, and general ledger functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare billing or customer service and a strong understanding of long-term care regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable, payroll taxes, purchase orders, and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  • Participate in committees and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare billing or business office preferred.
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing facility regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, and financial software.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with facility-wide interaction.
  • Requires physical mobility and occasional extended hours.
  • Exposure to healthcare-related conditions and emergencies.
