Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator – Houston Office
A leading law firm is seeking an
outgoing, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Recruiting Coordinator
to support entry-level hiring and the summer associate program in its Houston office. This role is key to enhancing the candidate experience, facilitating successful attorney integration, and building strong relationships with law schools, hiring partners, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Summer Associate Program & Entry-Level Hiring
- Plan and manage all aspects of the summer associate program, including onboarding, orientation, social events, evaluations, feedback coordination, and offer extensions.
- Organize and attend recruiting receptions, outreach events, and on-campus activities.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with law school career services offices; provide quarterly updates on student outcomes and firm presence.
- Support all entry-level recruiting efforts, including organizing callback interviews and coordinating interview logistics.
Recruiting Operations
- Create and manage interview schedules; prepare materials and communicate logistics to candidates, interviewers, and internal teams.
- Greet candidates and ensure a positive interview experience.
- Draft candidate correspondence and maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems.
- Generate recruiting reports and pipeline summaries.
- Assist with budget tracking and logistics for recruiting-related meetings and events.
- Draft communications related to recruiting initiatives and maintain firm branding materials.
Market Awareness & Collaboration
- Stay informed on market trends and entry-level hiring strategies to ensure competitiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to turn concepts into actionable recruiting strategies.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum
3 years of experience
in legal or professional services recruiting. - Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion with confidential information.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Experience with event planning and campus recruiting is a plus.
