AMPD Lighting and Audio Visual is the Premier provider for Audio Visual and lighting Solutions. Specializing in Non-Profit, Corporate, Entertainment and Live Events. We also provide access to a vast majority of the major AV brands in the industry. Over the past 17 Years, AMPD Lighting and AV has experienced a serious growth trend and expect that to continue for the next 5 years. We are looking for a Warehouse Manager with experience in the AV Trade and who is looking to grow with us.

As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and shipping department. You will be required lead a dynamic team, overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, from inventory control to logistics, while implementing innovative processes that drive efficiency and continuous improvement. Your experience in warehouse operations will be essential in optimizing our facilities functions and enhancing productivity.

Repsonsibilites

  • You will be required to learn and process our rental inventory with Flex Rental Solutions. You will create and update serialized and non-serialized items for rent and for sale on our sales floor.
  • Train new users in the Flex Rental Software and train new warehouse employees from time to time.
  • Receive new rental inventory, print and apply new barcode and asset labels and cross reference that to Rental Software PO's.
  • Ship using Fedex, UPS and USPS items we sell or used equipment we sell to online customers.
  • Record and remove used rental equipment from Flex as we sell or decommission.
  • Assist in warehouse tasks such as staging and pulling order, scanning and check-in and check out items.
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Strategizing loading and unloading trucks, basic prep skills and looking ahead to future orders.
  • Keep our warehouse clean and safe from obstructions
  • Being responsible for implementing our new RFID program

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar supervisory role within logistic operations
  • Experience with Flex Rental Solutions is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, operations management, and materials management principles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving operational goals.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
  • Fork lift training preferred but not required.
  • Required to pass a DOT Physical, Paid by AMPD.
  • Must have good customer service skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $47, $56,787.41 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
