Distribution Channel Manager

My client is seeking a highly motivated and strategic
Distribution Channel Manager
to drive and expand business through distribution partners - distributors, system integrators, and OEMs worldwide to deliver mission-critical connectivity across diverse verticals including manufacturing, transportation, energy, and smart infrastructure.

This role is responsible for developing strong relationships with channel partners, optimizing channel performance, and executing regional go-to-market strategies to increase revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy & Development:

  • Develop and implement channel strategies that align with regional and global objectives.

Distributor Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key distribution partners to foster loyalty and collaboration.

Sales Enablement:

  • Drive product and solution awareness, training, and certifications among distribution teams to strengthen their capabilities.

Revenue & Target Achievement:

  • Set sales targets and KPIs for each distributor. Monitor performance, identify gaps, and execute action plans to meet goals.

Channel Marketing:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams and distributors to co-develop campaigns, events, and digital initiatives that drive pipeline and brand visibility.
  • Pricing & Contract Management:
  • Ensure compliance with pricing strategy and partner programs. Manage distribution agreements and discount structures.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and end-user demand to provide feedback for product development and sales strategy.
  • Forecasting & Reporting:
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in channel or distribution sales, preferably in industrial automation, networking, or electronics.
  • Proven success in managing and growing partner ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of indirect sales models and channel best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required (~30-50%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial networking, IIoT, or OT/IT convergence technologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), partner portals, and analytics platforms.
