Security Officer Aerospace Patrol Clearance Required
in
Roy, UT
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, and deliver clear communication and customer service to staff and visitors. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command and notifying appropriate contacts as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and support access control processes in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate security-related information to on-site leadership and/or client representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
