Are you a strategic financial wizard ready to drive insights across Prime Video, Amazon Music, Twitch, Audible, and Amazon Games? We're seeking a dynamic Finance Manager who will transform complex financial data into compelling business narratives that shape leadership decisions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage and report on headcount and operating expenses with precision and insight

Your day will be a blend of strategic analysis, collaborative problem-solving, and financial storytelling. You'll dive deep into financial models, uncover hidden business opportunities, and translate intricate numerical landscapes into clear, actionable recommendations that drive our global entertainment ecosystem forward.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
  • 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA, or CPA
  • 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
