The Client Care Specialist within the Help Center is responsible for various client care duties associated with client care and direction to provide client care is given in accordance with Help Center Clinic policies and procedures. The Client Care Specialist will assist in assuring smooth patient flow, perform registration and scheduling appointments. Maintains EMR files and performs general front office functions as needed.

Schedule

Monday & Thursday 9am-7pm

Tuesday & Wednesday 8am-6pm

First Saturday of the month 9am-2pm

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to HELP Center policies/procedures
  • Answering phone and greeting walk-in clients
  • Assist with client check-in and scheduling
  • Assist with requests for information, complaints, and resolving issues
  • Maintain and update client contact information
  • Ensure that client forms are complete and accurate
  • Act as a liaison between clients and pharmacies
  • Maintains a system of confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
  • Contributes to teamwork with the HELP Center
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • Bilingual - Spanish & English
  • Medical Office (Required)
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Knowledge of EMR Systems

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 2-Year Experience in Client Services
  • Experience with Athena EMR System
