Senior Program Manager / Contract

Location: Austin, TX (USA) hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex, high-impact web projects across our marketing organization. In this senior role, you will be responsible for ensuring that web initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with overarching business strategies. You will partner with senior leadership across content strategy, design, and web operations to define project priorities, drive organizational transformation, and raise the standard for communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams. The right candidate brings deep expertise in program

management, digital strategy, and change leadership.

What you'll do:


• Lead High-Impact Initiatives:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large, complex web programs (major website overhauls, platform migrations, enterprise-level integrations, etc.) with company-wide impact. Lead negotiations with stakeholders to prioritize the roadmap and ensure alignment with overall business priorities.


• Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate with executive leadership to align web projects with long-term objectives and digital transformation goals. Critically evaluate processes and challenges to deliver solutions that address unique business needs.


• Timeline & Milestone Integration:
Integrate project timelines and milestones across concurrent initiatives, proactively identifying areas of synergy and interdependencies to optimize outcomes and maximize efficiency.


• Governance & Best Practices:
Define and implement robust program management standards, processes, and frameworks to ensure consistent execution, risk mitigation, and value delivery.


• Stakeholder & Executive Communication:
Serve as the principal point of contact for executive stakeholders, proactively manage expectations, provide regular program updates, and facilitate key decision making.


• Resource & Budget Oversight:
Take responsibility for program budgets, resource allocation, and tracking against both financial and operational KPIs. Continually assess project resourcing, identify current and potential gaps, and recommend strategies to optimize team capacity and ensure project delivery success.


• Change Management & Organizational Enablement:
Design and lead change management initiatives to introduce new platforms, tools, or workflows; coach teams through transitions to ensure adoption and sustained impact.


• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Support the professional development of project managers and cross-functional team members, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.


• Cross-Functional Alignment:
Navigate and resolve organizational complexity, breaking down silos to enable high-performing teams and seamless delivery across business units.


• Performance Measurement:
Define and track success metrics, analyze outcomes, and present results and recommendations to senior leadership.


• Quality & Compliance Assurance:
Ensure all web programs meet or exceed standards for brand, user experience, security, legal compliance, and accessibility.

Who you are:


• A Strategic Visionary:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, years of experience orchestrating large-scale, complex digital/web programs within sizeable or matrixed organizations.


• A Proven Leader:
You've successfully delivered multiple enterprise-level website initiatives and thrive when guiding teams through digital transformation projects.


• Digitally Fluent:
You are highly knowledgeable about web technologies, digital marketing strategies, modern UX/UI best practices, analytics platforms, and fluency or comfort with work

management systems (Jira, Smartsheet, Workfront, etc.).


• Collaborative with Technical Teams:
You have a track record of working closely with technical teams—such as developers, engineers, and IT—as part of cross-functional, matrixed organizations.


• Formally Certified:
You hold a recognized certification in Project or Program Management (such as PMP, PgMP, Agile/Scrum, or SAFe).


• An Executive Communicator:
Your executive presence, influencing skills, and relationship-building prowess enable you to navigate senior stakeholder environments with ease.


• Change Champion:
You have significant experience applying change management methodologies, leading teams through transitions, and ensuring lasting adoption of new processes and technologies.


• Financially Savvy:
You are comfortable managing multi-million-dollar budgets and tracking program success against operational and financial KPIs.


• A Team Mentor:
You love mentoring and empowering high-performing teams, fostering accountability, growth, and a continuous improvement mindset.


• Solution-Oriented:
You have a knack for solving complex problems, aligning diverse groups around common goals, and removing barriers to success.


• Standards Driven:
You hold your programs to the highest standards for brand consistency, security, accessibility, and legal compliance.
