Consumer Lending Manager

Position: Consumer Lending Manager Company: Mariner FinanceLocation: On-site/in officeSummary:The ideal candidate will have experience in the consumer lending industry, managing a team, maintaining sales goals, and working with a high sense of urgency. In this role you will focus on training and coaching your employees, making lending decisions, maintaining a low delinquency rate, and upholding strategic sales initiatives.Responsibilities:Manage and lead a team of direct reports.Exercise lending authority when reviewing and approving loan applications.Retain and maintain existing customer accounts. Monitor sales metrics and delinquency rate to achieve branch goals. Prepare and submit reports of branch activity. Develop additional customers by networking with local businesses.Implement and follow internal branch auditing procedures. Participate in company meetings and professional development activities. Maintain compliance and adhere to company policies and procedures. Incentives:Base salary and monthly bonus incentive. Qualifications:3+ years of experience in the Consumer Lending or Financial Services Industry.Experience in a management position for 2+ years.Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related discipline.Proven ability to create and sustain sales goals.Deep understanding of leading and motivating a team of direct reports. Capability to use various technologies and learn new programs.
