Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Industrial Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial manufacturing equipment used in the production of blending and drying systems.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on industrial mixers, dryers, and auxiliary systems.
  • Install, align, and test equipment and components.
  • Assemble motors, gears, reducers, encoders, brackets, rotary unions, airlines, lift trays, valves, piping.
  • Welding MIG, TIG, and Stick
  • Ability to read drawings including P&ID, Pneumatics Circuits, and Electrical Diagrams.
  • Drive and place equipment with a fork truck and crane.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams.
  • Maintain a clean an organized workspace.

Mechanic assembly and disassembly: Of integrated process equipment to include but not limited to chillers, dryers, pumps, HVAC, heating packages, etc.

Electrical: Minor electrical work as may be required for the replacement of sensors, motors, and solenoids contactors, VFDs, PLC etc.

Piping: Repair and installation on of process piping, water, and air supplies, drainage, etc.

Mechanical Fabrication (Including welding): As may be required for projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • 3+ years of experience as an Industrial or mechanical maintenance technician.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and live in commuting distance to Middlesex, NJ.
