Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, our IT Helpdesk team is seeking an
IT Support Specialist
who takes initiative and is eager to learn new skills. Along with the team, this position supports the company and its employees in the efficient, safe, and productive use of technology in support of business goals. This position allows for a career path in administration or development. This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

  • Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Installs or assists service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user's premises.
  • Loads specified software packages, such as operating systems, word processing, or spreadsheet programs into computer.
  • Enters commands and observes system functions to verify correct system operation.
  • Instructs users in use of equipment, software, and manuals.
  • Responds to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems.
  • Coordinates activities with help desk, network services, or other information systems groups.
  • Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Experience with Office 365 and maintenance of Microsoft Windows
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, or combination of school and experience
  • Experience with Quantum ERP is a plus
