Job Description: Senior Tax Accountant

Location: Sacramento, CA

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of tax experience, be a CPA or Enrolled Agent, and possess proficiency in Microsoft applications, QuickBooks, and Xero. Experience with Drake software is a plus. This role requires a team player who aligns with our core values and enjoys helping people. Supervisory experience is essential. Our ideal hours per year would 2100 hours total.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Balance financial statements and perform tax planning.
  • Engage in strategic thinking and KPI calculations.
  • Meet with the team regularly and supervise the staff accountant and a summer intern.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of tax experience.
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, QuickBooks, and Xero.
  • Experience with Drake software is a plus.
  • Strong supervisory skills.

Pay: $80, $95,000.00 per year
