Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Operate heavy equipment such as Front End Loader, Excavator, Grader, Scraper, Track Dozer, RTD Dozer, Blade, or Haul Truck for various mine operation construction tasks.
  • Perform digging and excavation activities as required by project specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project completion.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on construction sites.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that equipment is stored properly after use.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Equipment Operator
  • Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to operate various types of equipment safely and efficiently, including but not limited to dump trucks, water trucks, loaders, and bulldozers.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately while working under pressure.
