What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the facility to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities.
• Support emergency response efforts as needed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with emergency responders.
• Maintain thorough documentation of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Provide directions and general assistance to patients, visitors, and staff as needed, promoting a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining security-related awareness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
