Line Cook – Nomo Domo (San Luis Obispo, CA)

Pay: $18–$20/hour + tips

Job Summary:

As a Line Cook at Domo Domo, you're part of the backbone of our kitchen operations. You'll handle prep work, assist with cooking on the line, and make sure every dish is consistent, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Your skills help bring our ramen and sides to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proteins, sides, sauces, and toppings according to recipes
  • Assist with cooking on the line during service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Assist with inventory, prep lists, and daily kitchen duties

Requirements:

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred (line cook, prep cook, etc.)
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques
  • Able to handle a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and a great team player
  • Willing to learn and grow within a kitchen team
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
