As a Front Desk Security Professional at a distribution center within a retail-focused location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for everyone entering the facility. Your responsibilities will include managing access control, interacting with guests and staff, responding to alarms, and utilizing technology like computers or tablets to support security-related operations. Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or customers as they arrive at the front desk area, providing professional and courteous service.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and helping to manage visitor and vendor entry according to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.
• Operate communication devices and maintain communication with Allied Universal management and site personnel as required.
• Follow all location-specific procedures and protocols, adapting to changing situations and requirements as dictated by the site or Allied Universal.
• Assist with emergency response activities, supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience using an alarm panel is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
