Dream Center Engagement Coordinator

Position Profile:
The Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Dream Centers of Michigan (DCOM) by cultivating meaningful relationships with both donors and volunteers. This full-time role partners closely with the Executive Director to ensure supporters are valued, connected, and engaged in life-changing ways. Responsibilities include donor acknowledgement and experiences, annual fundraising events and campaigns, and coordinating volunteer recruitment and support.
As a staff member with Dream Centers of Michigan, in partnership with Woodside Bible Church, this position is a direct ministry role. All ministry staff are asked to affirm Woodside's Statement of Faith and maintain active membership at one of our 14 WBC locations. To learn more about Woodside, see
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain strong relationships.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Creativity in designing engaging donor and volunteer experiences.
- Ability to recruit, equip, and encourage volunteers for impactful service.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- Flexibility and initiative in a dynamic nonprofit ministry environment.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in donor relations, fundraising, or volunteer management strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with donor management platforms, event planning, and volunteer scheduling tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Alignment with the mission and values of Dream Centers of Michigan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Donor Engagement
- Manages donor acknowledgement processes, including timely thank-you letters, personal touches, and reporting.
- Supports the Executive Director in cultivating donor relationships and engagement strategies.
- Coordinates donor experiences, including tours, impact communications, and appreciation events.
- Assists in developing and executing annual fundraising campaigns.
- Helps plan and execute donor-related events that highlight DCOM's mission and impact.
Volunteer Engagement
- Recruits, onboards, and supports individual and group volunteers.
- Partners with program staff to match volunteers with meaningful opportunities.
- Coordinates volunteer appreciation and follow-up to build long-term relationships.
- Develops and implements systems for volunteer scheduling and tracking.
Events and Campaigns
- Supports planning and logistics for annual events and giving campaigns.
- Assists with promotion, communications, and follow-up.
- Collaborates with the team to ensure events reflect DCOM's mission and create memorable experiences for donors and volunteers alike.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50, $59,000.00 per year
