Construction Estimator & Sales Representative – Commercial Projects

We're looking for a Construction Estimator & Salesperson who can build relationships, close deals, and deliver accurate cost estimates for our growing commercial projects across California.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications, develop competitive bids, and expand our presence through proactive sales and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating Duties

  • Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to understand project requirements
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and proposals
  • Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and evaluate bids
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure budgets align with goals
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering solutions

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate and follow up on leads within the California construction market
  • Build lasting client relationships with contractors, developers, and district representatives
  • Prepare and present proposals that reflect both technical accuracy and client value
  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction estimating (Residential, Multifamily, or Commercial preferred)
  • Background or interest in sales, estimating, or project management
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, or similar tools
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with a hunter mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and clients simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $65, $150,000.00 per year
