Job SummaryLooking for a FULL TIME FLAT BED drivers. Full time is Mon-Fri with some Saturdays and Sundays depending if you are offloaded Friday. All units are daycabs, no sleepers. Will be home everyday. Loads are usually loaded quick and unloaded quick. IF YOU ARE ON SAP (meaning you have tested positive on a drug test and on the program still), PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNTIL YOU HAVE FULLY COMPLETED THE PROGRAM.*****90 DAY PROBATION PERIOD. PAY STARTS AT $21/HR. After 90 days, we re-evaluate performance, work ethic, etc with a possibility of moving to $22/HR.***ResponsibilitiesOperate a Semi-Truck and Trailer in a safe and professional manner.Execute route driving to deliver freight to specified locations while maintaining accurate delivery schedules. NO TOUCH FREIGHTConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain cleanliness inside the cabins AT ALL TIMES.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including sending clear picture of BOLs.COMMUNICATION COMMUNICATION COMMUNICATION is key. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during transport.Follow all safety protocols while driving and handling freight to minimize risks on the road.PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE is key. There is a lot of waiting for unloading and loading of trailers by customers. Sometimes loads carry over the next day. That is okay. You will still get paid per hour.RequirementsValid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type being operated. 2 YEARS with CDL required.Proven experience with truck and trailer.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations while on the road.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within our team environment.ZERO TOLERANCE. We understand how some customers can be frustrating. Your job is to maintain your composure, professionalism, and respect.
