Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, flatbed, and refrigerated trailer operations. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service while delivering freight to various destinations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Perform route driving to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of route navigation and freight handling procedures.
