: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Schedule

: 3x12 hours/week (36 hours guaranteed)
- Every other weekend & every other holiday required
- Opportunity for 48 hours/week
- Start Date

: 12/15/2025
- End Date

: 03/15/2026

Required Qualifications

  • BLS Certification (required)
  • CNA Certification (preferred)
  • Recent acute care experience (required)
  • Previous travel experience (required)
  • Ability to float to various units as assigned

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist with patient transport and transfers within the department and hospital.
  2. Administer oxygen via modalities such as nasal cannula, NRB, and BVM.
  3. Apply NIBP, ECG electrodes, pulse oximetry, and end-tidal CO₂ for patient monitoring.
  4. Respond promptly to patient call lights and family requests; escalate appropriately.
  5. Demonstrate age-appropriate skills while performing nursing care activities under licensed staff direction.
  6. Support activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients, not requiring nursing assessment.
  7. Complete unit-related tasks as assigned by the Nurse Director or their designee.
  8. Attend in-service and continuing education programs relevant to responsibilities.
  9. Adapt to float assignments and demonstrate flexibility in workload.
  10. Accept assignments and direction from Charge RN or designee.
  11. Immediately report any changes in patient status to the primary care RN.
  12. Complete all assignments and adapt to changing workloads.
  13. Accurately obtain, document, and report vital signs; report abnormal findings promptly.
  14. Measure and document patient intake and output accurately.
  15. Perform point-of-care capillary blood glucose testing; document and report abnormal results.
  16. Perform ECGs as ordered and utilize the appropriate equipment and documentation.
  17. Maintain and support patient rights (care, privacy, and respect).
  18. Participate in hospital/unit projects to improve patient care.
  19. Perform additional related duties as required or assigned.
