Maintenance Coordinator Primary Purpose
Primarily responsible for the yearly, monthly and daily planning and scheduling of maintenance work on gas and liquid pipelines. This includes all activities that may have an impact on the OCC's ability to remotely monitor and control the equipment and systems on the gas pipeline assets. Activities include, but are not limited to: unit maintenance, instrument calibrations, pigging (maintenance and ILI tools), inspections and project-related outages.

This role will work closely with OCC personnel, scheduling, commercial, field operations, engineering and projects to ensure outages and maintenance activities are planned, coordinated, and communicated to ensure the work is performed safely and minimizes the commercial impacts.

Maintenance Coordinator Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and Prepare Monthly, and Yearly Planned and Unplanned Maintenance
  • Coordinate with Field Ops, Tech Services, Project Management, Compliance, OCC, System Design, Commercial, and Scheduling on the planning and scheduling of maintenance.
  • Update and Maintain Maintenance Dashboard and Calendar
  • Prepare Monthly Maintenance for Posting
  • Maintain and Evaluate Maintenance Applications
  • Actively participates in review/approval processes for major maintenance or projects that impact system-wide operations.
  • Coordinate Unplanned Outages and Reliability Reporting
  • Prepare and Schedule Yearly Unplanned Outage Review
  • Maintain Reliability Tracker, Dashboard and Unplanned Outage Reports
  • Coordinate and Schedule Meetings for Maintenance and Reliability
  • Regularly communicate with management regarding system status, goals and objectives.
  • Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
  • Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.
  • Ensure communications (verbal or written) are accurate and timely.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
  • Will work non-traditional hours as needed.
  • Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
  • Other daily, weekly, monthly or special project duties as identified and defined.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of direct work experience in Gas maintenance and operation may be considered as a substitute for a degree.

Experience/Specific Knowledge

  • A minimum of five (5) years' direct and active work experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge of DOT OQ requirements and CRM regulations.
  • General understanding of pipeline maintenance tasks (electrical/mechanical).
  • Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI, Smartsheet, Maximo, and Outlook as well as other applications such as OSI PI, SharePoint.

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

  • Strong customer focus that includes demonstrated and consistent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Job level commensurate with experience and skill sets; position will be filled depending on the qualifications, experience and skillsets of the successful candidate.

Working Conditions

  • 24x7x365 operation in a secured, control center environment.
  • Occasional travel away from the assigned work location may be required.
  • May be required to carry a cell phone, and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
  • The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including a credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • None

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:

  • Previous experience in crude oil transportation in the area of pipeline control, scheduling, and/or field operations/maintenance.
  • Previous experience working in a 24x7x365 work environment is advantageous.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $102,300-$125,000/year.
