Overview

We are a busy California residential real estate brokerage seeking an experienced Transaction Coordinator to work in-office and manage files from contract to close. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a compliance-driven environment.

This position is not remote.

Responsibilities

  • Manage transaction files from acceptance through close of escrow
  • Review purchase agreements and addenda for accuracy and completeness
  • Track contingencies, deposits, and escrow timelines
  • Coordinate disclosures, signatures, and document delivery
  • Communicate with agents, escrow, lenders, and clients as needed
  • Ensure files comply with California DRE, brokerage, and E&O standards
  • Identify missing items or potential issues and escalate appropriately
  • Maintain clean, organized, audit-ready digital files

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Transaction Coordinator in California real estate
  • Strong knowledge of California contracts, disclosures, and timelines
  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in-office with agents and management
  • Experience with transaction platforms such as Glide, SkySlope, and ZipForms

Preferred (Not Required)

  • California real estate license (active or inactive)
