About the role

Heavy Equipment Operator – Rotating Day/Night Shift (5am – 5pm / Rotate every 2 weeks from days/nights)

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various heavy equipment, including fork trucks, front-end loaders, vacuum trucks, metal drum shredders, excavators, and a facility street sweeper. The position reports directly to the NHIW Manager and plays a critical role in supporting plant operations by off-loading box van trailers and performing routine maintenance.

Essential Functions:

• Operate and inspect heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Adhere to all Reworld environmental compliance, health, and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify and correct safety or environmental hazards and report issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and routine upkeep of assigned equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Support plant operations by safely off-loading box van trailers on shift.
• Work overtime and rotating shifts as operational needs require.

Work Schedule:

• Rotating 12-hr Shifts (days and nights)

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating heavy equipment is required.
• Industrial plant or related experience is strongly preferred.
• Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and ability to follow standard procedures are essential.

The annual salary for this position is between 52,000 – 63,000 This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary figure will take into account a variety of factors including experience, ability, and location. Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.
