Receiving & Outside Services Coordinator

JOB SCOPE (DESCRIPTION)

The Receiving and Outside Service Coordinator at Metal Flow Corporation plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing the accuracy and integrity of all receipts, diligently ensuring raw material, outside processed product and MRO items are accurately received and stored or distributed without damage and according to specifications and routings. Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring all supplier required paperwork is scanned and saved with the receipt. Moreover, they are required to accurately and safely load and unload the daily delivery/shipping trucks.

DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately complete receiving paperwork for daily deliveries. Including, but not limited to:
• Raw material deliveries
• Outside services deliveries
• MRO / small parcel deliveries
• Sign and scan in paperwork to attach to the receipts in Plex
• Accurately prepare outside service paperwork and ship on daily trucks
• Assist the Purchasing and Quality team on any raw material returns or required rework product to our outside vendors
• Assist with the movement of product from one Metal Flow plant to the other
• Utilize hi-lo or forklift for material handling tasks as needed.
• Unload and load shipments for daily trucks
• Stage product for upcoming shifts
• Unload returnable dunnage as required
• Minimize errors that could cause customer concerns by double-checking quantities, labels, and packaging integrity.
• Reweight raw material as needed
• Communicate any damaged product, hi-lo issues or safety concerns to your Supervisor or another Metal Flow leader.
• Support part and raw material cycle count activities
• Support all other departments as needed, ie. Quality, Purchasing, Value Add, Production, etc
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• All other duties assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

• Preferred Education:
• High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Ability to possess a driver's license and train and keep up with forklift certification requirements.
• Required Qualities: Ability to work constructively with others, effective verbal and written communication skills, heightened attention to detail and ability to follow-through.

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires a high-level of physical activity.
• Frequent Standing, walking, moving, bending, pushing or pulling for prolonged periods of time.
• Position requires frequent bending, squatting, twisting of upper body, extending arms and mid-section
• Regularly lifting and moving up to 35 lbs.
• Occasionally lifting and moving up to 50 lbs or more.
• Visual acuity adequate to view small font on labels, barcodes, and product.
• Ability to use computer.
• Ability to safety operate a forklift truck
• Must wear proper eye and ear protection in designated areas.
• Must wear proper OSHA approved work boots or shoes.
• Ability to work periodic overtime, including weekends, if requested.
