What you'll do

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations that highlight features and benefits, ensuring customers are well-informed.
  • Utilize point of sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling protocols.
  • Upsell products by identifying opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience in merchandising and stocking products effectively.
