Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a vibrant setting.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas in accordance with sanitation standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to upsell menu items effectively
  • Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service hours
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
  • Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
